ALVIN Antique American Art Nouveau Sterling Silver Lid Large Crystal Powder Jar
The classic large hand cut crystal powder jar features deep incision pattern on the bottom. The lid is massive solid sterling silver, adorned with wreath and bow surrounding monogram of beautiful calligraphy, adding to the antique charm of the exquisite piece. The lid is clearly hallmarked on the rim 21. The Alvin Silver Manufacturing Company was founded.
Moved to Long Island NJ in 1895. Name changed in Alvin Silver Co. The sterling silver lid crystal powder jar is as seen in the photos. 3 tall with the lid on and 4.5 wide. The lid is 3.5 across.
The antique sterling silver lid crystal powder jar. Is in very good condition with minimal signs of age. There are some imperfection/indentation marks near the rim on one side of the rim, please see the photos. The lid has one letter.
