Art Deco Alvin Pierced Rim Sterling Silver Serving Bread Tray J55-4 1920's. Beautiful antique sterling silver tray by Alvin. Features a pierced rim all around. Engraved/embossed leafy scrollwork detail is featured on all 4 sides of the tray. Embossed/engraved leaf detail can be viewed underneath the scrollwork designs.

Tray's handles are flared out for more gripping space. Exact date is unknown; from the 1920s.

It was only in New York where Alvin Silver Manufacturing Company begun introducing silverware based on historical patterns.
