These 2 sterling silver spoons were made by the Alvin Silver Company (acquired by Gorham in 1928) in the "Bridal Rose" pattern. This pattern was produced from 1903 to 1999.
These spoons belonged to my grandmother and probably date from the first 25 years of the pattern's production. They are in good condition with minimal wear despite their age - they do need a good polish. The spoons are 8 3/8" long and have an "E monogram on the front of the handles. The bowls are 3 long and 1 7/8 wide. Maker's mark in the form used in the early years of production.
Total weight is 144 gms / 5.1 oz.
