These 6 sterling silver dinner knives were made by the Alvin Silver Company (acquired by Gorham in 1928) in the "Bridal Rose" pattern. This pattern was produced from 1903 to 1999. They belonged to my grandmother and probably date from the first 25 years of the pattern's production. They are 9 long with blunt silverplate blades and hollow handles with bolsters.

They have an "E" monogram on the handle. The lower edges of the handles show "STERLING" and the Alvin maker's mark in the form used in the early years of production.

The knives are in good condition with minimal wear despite their age.
