6 Alvin Maryland Sterling Handled Knives 8 ¾" Good Blades 8 ¾" long. The Maryland pattern was issued in 1910. The handles look that era, but I think they've been re-bladed. The blades are sharp, modern, and in good preowned condition. They have some blemishes, see the photos. Alvin made heavy, high quality sterling goods.

I estimate there's an ounce of silver in each handle. Handles have many small nicks from previous use, normal wear for an antique silver item.
