These antique sterling silver ice cream forks are in their original felt wrap, with the name of the maker Black, Starr and Gorham. The company was formed in 1940 from three well known and respected firms in the jewelry and silver business: Black, Starr & Frost, Gorham Manufacturing Company and the Alvin Manufacturing Company. The new company created luxury jewelry and silverware that was considered unmatched in quality and design. There are nine forks in this set. The bowls of the forks have a gold wash.

They have hallmarks and are marked STERLING. They have a monogram on the handle. They measure 5.25 long. They are in excellent condition, having very little tarnish and the gold shows only normal wear. A very nice and hard to find set.
