Presented is a lovely set of 11 Alvin sterling silver teaspoons. These spoons are made in the Majestic pattern, which began production in 1900. This is a beautiful multi-motif Art Nouveau pattern, featuring a different flower on each type of utensil. These spoons are very attractive and well made, with a nice feeling of weight in the hand.
This set is in great condition. The details of the design are nice and crisp. There are no splits, no breaks, no dents, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs. The stem of each spoon is stamped'sterling' and with the maker's mark for Alvin, as well as'patent. Further up the stem is a stamp of H inside a circle, used by Alvin to indicate flatware made in a heavy weight.
