Superb Vintage Sterling Silver Turquoise Channel Inlay Pendant. Made By Renound New Mexico Zuni Silversmith, Artist Alvin Fuson! A one-of-a-kind piece of Southwestern Zuni jewelry. The hard, high-grade turquoise is from the, now shut down, Tyrone Mine near Silver City, New Mexico. This rare Tyrone Mine spring green turquoise has a delicate, feathery matrix. Turquoise from this mine stopped production in the 1980s, and has become highly collectible - most in private hands. The pendant comes with a 27 925 sterling silver chain to match. The pendant is 2 1/2 high and 7/8' wide.
Together, pendant and chain weigh 36 grams. This is a special and important piece of Zuni inlay Turquoise jewelry. Our jewelry is not available at typical retail stores.
